Arteastiq Boutique Tea House Review

Hello!

Like I said previously, I am on a blog roll! Woohoo, it's definitely good for me cuz at least I can finish my posts on time. (smirk) Also, my blog won't be so boring with only advertorials. (opps)

For a person like me who isn't very artistic to begin with, I do find it a little challenging to start when I was just presented with a clean large canvas and paints. On b's 22nd birthday, we made our way to Arteastiq Boutique Tea House for some painting! B was definitely a better drawer than I do. On the other hand, I would prefer cutting and pasting. In other words, that's scrapbooking. hahaha.

Since it's b's birthday, we had a 1-for-1 deal promotion. All in all, we paid $48 for both inclusive of two drinks. When it comes to complimentary drinks, I realized that most places only provide coffee, tea or maybe ice lemon tea? I am quite impressed when I can get to choose my favourite drink off their menu. I had ice chocolate and b had his favourite green tea latte. He was thrilled.

We did research on what to paint on our own canvas. My theme was flowers and b's theme was the beaches.

I think the overall experience was great for a noobie like me. They have plenty of colours for you to choose from. The thing about colours is that you get to blend the colour you desire if the colour you want ran out or does not even exist. Oh well, just look at the number of pantone colours we have out there.

I was expecting a little more though. I thought there will be a coaching session to teach us the basics of painting or a little help here and there to craft our very own delightful canvas. However, every one seems to be just painting on their own. Likewise, the staffs are doing their own things too.

When I am done with my canvas, I thought I did well. Although there's still a lot to improve on. Then again, after seeing it for months, I get sick and tired of it and was thinking back why din't I do better that time. I guess this is what happens in real life. There are plenty of happenings every day and whether did you achieve the best out of it turns out to be another problem. Well, well.
