Nunsongyee Bingsu! Simply melt in your mouth !

Hooray to the holidays!

December is definitely the time of the year that everyone looks forward to, especially as it is a month filled with amazing discounts and promotions with our favorite stores doling out sweeter than sweet deals to amplify the charm and allure of the festive season!

I’m sure everyone has heard of Nunsongyee, the Bingsu dessert destination that pioneered the whole Korean dessert hype here in Singapore a few years ago. Famed for their diverse range of authentic Korean Bingsu treats, they have since expanded to 5 outlets island wide, with outlets in the heartlands that makes it a whole lot easier for us all to get our very much needed Bingsu fix!

This December, Nunsongyee gives us yet again another fantastic reason (amongst other many reasons) to patronize its various stores! Cue the arrivals of Outlet Exclusive Bingsus! Leaving their chefs in full charge, each Outlet have been tasked to create a NEW, singular Bingsu flavor that they believe best represents themselves the best which signaled the birth of fruity specials like Melon and Grape to velvety chocolatey decadence like the Choco-Oreo-Brownie-Bingsu!

Few weekends back, I was invited to give Nunsongyee @ Century Square’s Outlet Exclusive number, the Choco-Oreo-Brownie-Bingsu a taste test! When it was served, I was blown away by how gorgeous it is.

Topped with brownies and with Chocolate shavings and Oreo Bits scattered generously at its’ tip and sides, the Chocolate Bingsu was truly a Bingsu masterpiece. As I dug deeper into this mouth-watering, indulgent treat, it’s inside revealed its shaved ice center, grinded into fluffy bits that melt wondrously as soon as it meets the tongue. The flavors, although all pretty much on the sugary side was surprisingly not overwhelmingly sweet, blending perfectly together harmoniously.

Good things ought to be shared! If one outlet alone is already capable of such deliciousness, just imagine what how equally amazing the other outlets’ Bingsus will be… although in my heart, there is no competition, the Choco-Oreo-Brownie Bingsu is the undisputed winner!
